WebMoney Reaching 5 Million Users and Announces Q4 Results

This is no surprise to me as WebMoney closing near to 5 Million Users and closing up to 3.337 billion in profit for 2007 (source)
On February 6 WebMoney Transfer has announced results for year 2007.
In 2007 number of registrations in the System has exceeded 4 million and is going to welcome its 5-million customer soon. For the past year 1.44 million new customers joined the System.
The turnover for the past year is equivalent to 3.337 billion USD, total number of transactions - 27.4 million. rate of growth for years 2001-2007 is here.
In July 2007 WebMoney has launched new currency, backed by Gold - WMG or WebMoney Gold.New version of Client application – WM Keeper Classic 3.6.0.1 has been released with numerous new features.
New year 2008 started with new Login Webmoney service, that allows to log-in and access all WM features comfortably without any extra plug-ins and from any browser.
WebMoney Keeper Mobile – mobile application, that allows to operate WebMoney Purse from any mobile phone, PDA or any other mobile device, supporting Java is launched with new features and now counts almost 170 000 users.WebMoney Transfer annually participates in many trade-shows, forums and conferences worldwide: E-finance Russia, DomainFest in Hollywood, Digital Money Forum (UK)and many others.

The figures are far as compared to Paypal’s Q4 announcement but having that vast membership numbers and amount being circulated in WebMoney is a feat. Congratulations ;)
