Liberty Reserve Changes Security Pin to Master Key

by User ImageBenson on February 2nd, 2008

Basically it’s the same thing, but Liberty Reserve has changed the name of ‘Security Pin’ to ‘Master Key’ (source: LR Blog)

Dear Members!

Please note, that effective immediately 3 digit Security PIN has been renamed to Master Key. This change will help you to avoid any confusion when you are retrieving your forgotten login details. Your PIN/Key is still the same and performs the same functions as before, the only thing that has been changed is its name.

Jennifer

Thank you Jennifer. So guys, don’t get confused! ;)

ps. It appears to me the DDoS for LR has basically stopped. C-gold’s site is up for me too.

Welcome to that changes it will increase security, Liberty Reserve the choice of e-currency, the rest will be dropped.
Time for the Liberty Reserve admin to upgrade the servers for increasing demand for it.

    Hi Evelyn,
The business you are planning to start, if doing it right you need a company who is certified to do such business which means accept deposits from clients. You need as well a good host with SSL and DDOS protection and then of course you need a script who can do the work for you. It is not wise doing that kind of business from the USA as for my information to do that from the US you need a banking licence for it.
The good times are gone when it was possible to contact the e-currency service and ask to be a exchanger for them and e-gold right now the most horrible of them.
So I suggest search at google if you still want to go on with that business and find the right script and info.

    Hi Eve,

Depending on your country’s jurisdiction, the best way to do it is to check with your regulatory bodies on the type of licence to apply for (this is the foundation)

Once approved, work on contacting the digital currencies to apply to be their merchants. That won’t be really tough to do. E-gold/ E-bullion requires you to buy at spot on prices depending on which you’ll be wanting to trade.

Or you can even offer to buy from people and sell it back. It’s just that simple.

Website in my opinion is important, but its a secondary component as apposed to your licencing, contacts and the way that you approach people to use your services.
