Liberty Dollar Sues The US Government !
Wow, as if Alberto Gonzales doesn’t have enough problems :-) The US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana got a whopper of a case today. Bernard Von Nothaus d/b/a Liberty Dollar is now suing the US Government.
Liberty Dollar v Henry M. Paulson, Secretary of the Treasury, Alberto Gonzales, Attorney General of the United States, Edmond C. Moy, Director, US Mint
Bernard is fighting the 2006 claim by the US Mint that the Liberty Dollar silver and gold medallions may be considered a crime in violation of US Law (18 U.S.C. /486). Seems Bernard is trying to correct this item before they get hammered again by the Mint. Go get ‘em Bernard! Click here to see the Lawsuit in PDF Format
I’ve written about the Liberty Dollar several times in the past months:

A bad day for freedom. We all know why they’re doing it though, the dollars’ doomed and if too many people start using alternative currencies, then the US will be in real trouble.

Ron Paul / Jerry Brown ticket is just in making. If Ron Paul and his running mate Jerry Brown run as Independent Presidential Cadidate 2008. Entire thing about Bernard von NotHaus and NORFED case angainst will be thrown out and declear that Bernard von NotHaus and NORFED acted legally. Since U.S. Constitution said that it is totally legal issue private circulation currency along with government issued one. For example Pobjoy Mint in England issue coins for Isle of Man. Since Royal Mint also issue coins that you can use on Isle of Man. In United Kingdom, British Royal Mint and Pobjoy Mint issue different coins and currency for Great Britain and Commonwealth Countries such as Bermuda. If so why not Sunshine Mint and NORFED can issue coins and currencies for United States of America?
