A3Union and Other Classic Multi Million Dollar Ponzi Scams pt2

by Mark on September 2nd, 2007

How Does It Work And When Does It Collapse?

As his most famous 1920 operation became larger, Charles Ponzi, started to get questioned about his ‘investment’ scam. The most serious questions were centered on two topics. One set of questions looked at him personally and one line of questioning looked at his investment company.

The personal line of questions dug into Mr. Ponzi’s background. People asked reasonable questions such as, “…how Charles Ponzi could have gone from being broke to becoming a millionaire in so short a time.” The year was 1920 and a dramatic increase in wealth during such a short period of a few months was a real miracle.

Inquisitive people checked into to Mr. Ponzi’s background. They wanted to find what schools he attended or the financial firms he had previously worked for…..but they only found that he had been in prison. There was no legacy of higher learning or earlier years of experience working in finance. They began to ask, how he could be such a financial genius with no formal education, no financial investment training and only months earlier he was broke?

The question that echoed was, “…how did he become so good so quick?”

The next line of questions attacked his business. As it turned out, Mr. Ponzi’s largest scam was promising outrageously large returns and claiming logistically impossible numbers. People asking the questions then reverse calculated his ‘investment’ numbers based on the amount of money he was taking in….and alarm bells started to go off.

Ponzi’s largest scam, centered around ‘postal reply coupons’ and he claimed his company business earned returns in excess of 400%. He then offered the public a 50% return in 45 days, or a doubling of their money in 90 days. Sound familiar? After calculating the total investor funds and the amount of interest payable to his ‘investors’ the reverse engineered numbers quickly proved that his business was a total scam.

For his 1920’s operation to have been legitimate, there would need to be more then 160 million postal reply coupons in open circulation. But at the time of his operation there were just 27,000 actually circulating. When the public saw this problem, there was an ‘investor’ run on his bank. He no longer took in more than he paid out and the scam collapsed.

Let’s take a closer look at the A3Union Ponzi scam. They offer three basic investor options, three different lengths and returns: [7 days 12%], [14 days 28%] and [92 days 200%] I’ll examine two, the ‘Classic 12%’ and the ‘Low Risk Classic 200%’ options.

Classic Portfolio

This portfolio is an equal combination of day trading transactions along with low risk financial analysis. One of the most popular investment products A3Union offer. A daily fixed interest of 1.7% is credited to accounts cash balance upon the expiration of the term. Take a try of this low risk opportunity, and your principal and profit will be secure and 100% guaranteed.
–Guaranteed profit in 7 days - 12%.
–Minimum investment - $250
–The principal is released in 7 days.

Break down these numbers. How many times could you theoretically roll over this 7 day investment in one year? I’ll subtract 15 days from a year for holidays and web outages: 365 -15 = 350 days / 7 = 50 times. 7 days 12% can be rolled over 50 times.

Without compounding or adding the interest each time the ‘investment’ is rolled over for re-investment, a half million dollar starting amount, would have to show 3 million in day trading profits which will then need to be paid out in interest. This only occurs if everyone withdraws their interest each 7 days and that 500k in principle was rolled over.

I can hear the true believers now, “…well that’s possible you haven’t proven anything!”

Now take a look again if you rolled over the total amount both principal and interest every 7 days, here is what those figures look like:

  • 500,000 x 1.12 = 560,000 (7 days)
  • 560,000 x 1.12 = 627,200 (14 days)
  • 627,000 x 1.12 = 702,464 (21 days)
  • 786K - 881K - 986K - 1,105,300 - 1,237,900 - 1,386,500 - 1,552,900 –
(10 times being rolled over including the interest) 500k turns into 1.55 million in 70 days (under 3 months).
  • 1,739,200 - 1,947,900 - 2,181,700 - 2,443,500 - 2,736,700 - 3,065,100 - 3,433,000 - 3,844,900 - 4,306,300 - 4,823, 100 -
    (20 times or 20 weeks = 140 days) 500k turns into 4.82 million
  • 4,823,100 - 5,401,900 - 6,050,100 - 6,776,100 - 7,58,300 - 8,500,000 - 9,520,000 - 10,662, 400 - 11,941,900 - 13,374,900 -
    (30 weeks = 210 days) 500k turns into 13.3 million

I think I’ve gone high enough so let’s stop the fantasy at just 30 weeks and not go out to 50 possible rollovers. Returns in 10 weeks are ridiculous enough….does anyone reading believe that a bunch of strangers behind internet proxies could achieve such fantastical returns?

  • Do you think anyone with such extraordinary financial ability and knowledge would be illegally soliciting $20 anonymous investments using digital currency?
  • How are these anonymous web site operators so skilled that in 7 months they could take $500,000 and turn it into over $13 million? (answer-they are NOT, its a total ponzi scam)

Let’s go back to the 1920’s Charles Ponzi investigation and ask those same questions.

  • Where were the A3Union web site operators months ago before this ‘opportunity’?
  • What financial training allows them to claim they can generate more money than any established Wall Street firm despite the fact they solicit $50 anonymous digital currency investments from kids behind an Internet proxy?

It is not possible - it is a ’scheme to defraud’ you. * usdoj.gov

You are dreaming if you think consistent huge returns as advertised in A3Union are possible in any financial market. This is a scam to steal your money. It will collapse when there are fewer dollars coming in than they want to pay out.

Just like 12DailyPro and OSGold, this is a ponzi scheme.

How is it possible they moved from total obscurity to millionaire status in just months? Its NOT possible.

Low Risk Classic Portfolio
We invest your principal on daily basis into low risk transactions.
–This portfolio guarantees the profit of 2.17% daily.
–We manage to generate and guarantee 200% profit in 92 days.
Minimum investment - $50

92 days 200% can be rolled over just 3 times within one years time.

If, as the A3Union phony prospectus states, there was $500,000 in house last year and it paid out the 92 days sequence just once, the principal investment funds would need to create a profit of more than $1 million dollars in just under 90 days. (no trading loss, commissions, transaction fees, taxes, no 20% withholdings by the brokerage or large bank fees)

Moving on, if you rolled that $1.5 million dollars over and had to pay investor’s interest again, 92 days later, your profit on day trading would be in excess of $3 million dollars in order for A3Union to make the minimum ponzi interest payment just one more time.

The A3Union scammers are telling people they can make in excess of $4 million dollars on an original principal investment of $500,000 while day trading stocks through a Charles Schwab account in just over 180 days!

Their phony prospectus says it all, “…..A3Union is a perfect solution for those who are not familiar with day trading and trading stocks.”

Where were these guys last year? Apply the Ponzi question, how can these operators just ‘arrive’ on the scene making this kind of huge profits…but last year what investment firm did they work for…?

At least in 1920, some people asked these questions…”how could someone go from broke to millionaire so quick?”

Answer: Its magic just like OSGold and 12DailyPro!!

Hmmmm….and I’ll leave you with one last question, if any legitimate business person could actually make such high returns on their investments, if anyone actually had such amazing skill….would they really be online asking for $20’s in e-gold?

Please be aware of these scams on the Internet and do not send your money.

Whether its called OSGold, 12DailyPro or A3Union, consistent high returns such as advertised by these scams are NOT possible.

THE TRUTH, A3Union are not investing in any portfolio as they claims BUT only using matrix system with 99 levels deep to pay all investors by hiring (offering) A3Union Local Representative program.

LRP are the middle man, the eyes for A3Union. They will report to A3U Admin when something not in their way of promoting, happen. LRP is a person who will shout out to promote and advertise in forums, blogs, personal website to convince others to invest. If you invest, the next steps they will ask you to reinvest back into any of the fund to gain more because they will earn from every penny reinvested from the matrix program. That is why they cling and convincing others to invest back your money.

    A3U MAtrix level:
    1-2-4-8… (99 levels)
    L0 - Admin
    L1 - Left- David Forsman, Right-Charlie Bidwell
    L2 - 4 Fund (2 left, 2 right)
    L3 - Top LRP by Countries (Portfolio’s)
    L4 - LRP’s
    L5 - L99 -All Gamblers…

    Their
3 Managed Fund, (the top leaders)
    10 portfolios fund,
4 Funds (low risk, high risk)

Everything are being structured in the matrix system from the beginning.

A3U needs to recycle the money to pay other investors and for LRP they already get their cuts so that they can work hard promoting and convincing with 10% - 5% commission.

It amazes me that some people will still come to a site like this and post that they got paid so it’s not a scam. They simply are either too stupid or too trusting or maybe a bit of both to fully grasp that sooner or later this ponzi like all others will fail. You think A3union is bad, check out that dreck Pathway to prosperity the guy says he can return 2.5% a day… and you can only invest 25k at a time do the math on that one.. same questions apply.. if this guy can return 2.5% a day why does he put up a hundred buck ponzi script and take in 20 buck egold payments.. scam scam scam… the sooner some of these idiots wake up the sooner we can rid the web of those rip off artists.

And now, they are announcing using Western Union service to escape from using the digital cash? Why? One of the reason, it’s because they are so desperate for the cash in hand to maintain the matrix levels.

With direct cash from the gambler they will be easier for them hold all investor money in their hand.

    [Quote: 17/09/07 - A3Union]
A3Union are proud to inform everyone that Western Union transfers are being accepted now. This is the most easiest way to invest an amount less than our minimum requirement for bank wire. People had to look for an alternative payment method. However, most of e-currencies are still not familiar to some of our customers who would prefer sending cash instead of dealing with online payment consequences. Use Western Union Money Transfer to fund your A3Union account at over 170,000 Western Union Agent locations worldwide now!

Western Union Payment Solutions are often faster, easier and more secure than conventional payment methods.]

By the way, e-gold are now implement to washout, swap all HYIP, Ponzi acct to maintain they credibility. So, A3Union already making the move by using Western Union.

It’s easier for them to run forest run… !!

    hi guys,

you guys have made fantastic analysis of this. a3union will definitely work today but will fail tomorrow. it has been happening. in nigeria, they were called wonder banks and they did not stay morethan one year. pls i want to hear your comment on Deriveedge. they promise to pay 5% everyday.

You said it urselves, it will “eventually” fail. This will happen only when people start loosing confidence. Every business has its inherent risk, some maybe a little more calculated than others, but all are risky. And every “Dinosaur” in the business world will soon go extinct, believe it or not in a century’s time, even Microsoft would have gone extinct.

For me like in stocks the key is knowing when to pull out. I’m investing in A3, not cos I think the “scam” will last forever, but cos I believe I can pull out before it does, the thought is exhilarating!

    Cheerio - frm 9ja

N.B. by the way the Nigerian “wonder banks” collapsed so soon because banks like Zenith ensured the CBN placed a ban on them and froze their accounts. The Govt wasn’t protecting the people, they were protecting the interest of the a few highly placed individuals. People loose money in stocks too, but they don’t place a ban on the stock market do they???? Don’t be deceived since when did the naija government start showing love to it’s citizen…. na beanz??!!

lol, you got to be kidding me. I’ve been around in HYIPs for a long long time, it’s a dead on in the first place that A3 is definitely a ponzi scam. Read Jude’s NobsHYIP and you’ll know a lot more on identifying them.

Sorry that you’ve lost money in A3Union

Thilagavathy, sorry to say that its nothing you can do anymore. Just look at the sky and watch the birds fly.. because the warning about a3u ponzi scam has been alert since Part 1 and most gamblers still trying to rock with a3u to built their rockin confidence to convince others telling they still received payment from a3u. All LRP’s are still bangin hoping that a3u will last for ever untill they fall. The worst part some LRP’s has becomes a bigfisher to catch a small new fish so that they can recover their loses.. in other way.. becareful..

I have invested in A3Union and other online HYIP’s with a friend of mine… We started with 1000$. For a time we where in proffit, almost reached 1500$ but soon we started to loose money, when some of the HYIP we were investing close, while “new” ones appear and we ended up with $900. What is said here is true, 99,99% of HYIP are SCAMS and I havent found the 0,01 % that are not. I say 99,99% because the concept of gathering money from people to invest, in theory, should work! But it all turns into a SCAM sooner or latter. When putting money in any program like this, you have to inform yourself first of the “rules” and bear in mind at least this very simple rule “DO NOT INVEST/GAMBLE MONEY YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE”. I cant believe how can someone claim they lost all is savings in a SCAM.

    Check the story here: http://www.squidoo.com/HYIPSCAMS

Well, A3U are now listed into scam history.. for those who lost their money, be careful next time when dealing with HYIP’s.. Its not just “DO NOT INVEST/GAMBLE MONEY YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE”. but need to remember “IT’S JUST A GAME OF MONEY, WHETHER YOU CONTROL THE GAME OR THE GAME WILL CONTROL YOU..” Either you control your money when profiting or they will control you till you lose.. Mostly new fresh meat trying to control the game of HYIP’s by pooling money into many programs but the house always win alotsa money! The house always use the strategic “HIT and RUN” and for those who is still interested on gambling in HYIP’s should do the same things too. Just be careful.. or its better to stop investing money in HYIP. If you keep a dollar a day for 365days into 3 piggybank (saving) of yours, its will be more better then giving your money to people/program that claims can make you Quick RICH.. by waiting for 100days to get back the principle. Exp: $1 x 3pbnk = $3 x 365 = $1095 pa. x 5yrs = $5475.00 without worried of being scam. Only you can scam your own money by spending it.. hehehe..
It’s better walk SLOWLY in making money. If you fall when running, it will hurt and injured more compare falling when you walk.. so get back yourself up and get educate.
HYIP won’t stop, the market are still in demand today and tomorrow. Just educate yourself..
    C ya..
